Eastern Kentucky University, in accordance with all state and federal regulations including section 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, provides equal access and opportunity for all students, faculty, staff and the community at large. EKU requires all entities using EKU facilities for events to follow EKU policies regarding accessibility. EKU will, with appropriate notice, attempt to provide reasonable accommodations to all individuals with disabilities wishing to access EKU sponsored events and services on campus. For non-EKU sponsored events, EKU will, with appropriate notice, provide information about available resources and accommodations and/or persons who may be available to contract for services. It is the responsibility of contracting entities to be sure they are using appropriately accessible buildings or providing needed services (such as interpreting services).
